Shanghai, China, 20 June 2012: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with France Telecom-Orange, entering into a two-year partnership that combines Orange’s technology and marketing capabilities with Huawei’s expertise in smart device development, services and integration. Under this MOU which covers both OEM and ODM projects, the global consumers of France Telecom-Orange can look forward to a portfolio of handsets, mobile broadband devices and tablets created through Orange and Huawei’s collaborative product development efforts, joint investments in technology and innovation as well as exploration of new business models underpinned by co-marketing and sales activities.
